• This Rehabilitation and Nursing facility in Oneonta is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team as a direct hire OT.

• Position Type: Full-Time with Great Benefits
• Pay Range: $42.00$48.00/hour (based on experience)
• Location: Oneonta, NY

• As an Occupational Therapist, youll play a critical role in assessing, developing, and implementing tailored treatment plans for residents, helping them regain functional independence and improve daily living skills.

• Evaluate residents and create individualized treatment plans based on medical diagnoses
• Implement therapeutic activities and track progress toward functional goals
• Document daily notes, progress reports, and re-certifications accurately
• Maintain confidentiality and protect resident information
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary communication
• Assist the Rehab Director with departmental reporting and special projects

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current New York State OT License
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
