Job description:

Overview: Clinical Instructors in a BSN program educate and mentor nursing students in clinical settings, bridging classroom theory with practical application. They supervise students during rotations, ensure safe patient care, and foster critical thinking and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Education: BSN with 3 years of patient care experience (minimum).
• Licensure: Current, unencumbered RN license in state of practice (multi-state privilege acceptable).
• Experience: 23 years of clinical nursing experience (e.g., medical-surgical, critical care). Teaching or precepting experience preferred.
• Certifications: CPR required; ACLS optional. CNE or CNEcl certifications advantageous.
• Other: Compliance with agency requirements (e.g., drug screening, immunizations). Familiarity with EHR systems.
