• As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents to help them achieve long-term health benefits and improve their overall mobility and quality of life.
• Evaluate residents' conditionsand develop individualized physical rehabilitation plans.
• Help residentsimprove mobilityand functional independence.
• Relieve painusing exercises, hands-on therapy, stretching, and physical therapy devices.
• Assist residentsin using physical therapy equipment effectively.
• Guide residents through therapy tasks, monitoring theirperformanceand progress.
• Inform residentsabout what they should expect at different stages of their recovery.
• Supervise physical therapy assistantswhen required.
• Maintain asafe and clean working environment.
• Adhere to infection-control policiesand protocols.
• Contribute tointerdisciplinary team effortsto ensure comprehensive resident care.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.
• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care settings preferred.
